Efficiency membrane replacement – versus - flow rate
The more water is drawn through a membrane, the more frequently it has to be cleaned, and the shorter the service life. Since the membranes still account for a considerable proportion of the total costs of a water treatment plant, the optimised operating point of the membrane is always questioned.
